Child Safety Seat Program

A Child Safety Program is hosted by Augusta County Fire-Rescue to ensure the safe and well being of children in our area - for more information please contact Minday Craun (540) 245-5624 ext. 5.

Fire-Rescue Key Box Program

This is a safe way for emergency personnel to access your home in the event of an accident, sudden illness or emergency call to your home.  Fire trucks and ambulances have electronic devices mounted in their apparatus that will hold a master key.  This allows emergency personnel to enter without having to force entry and do costly damage to your home.  The key box costs approximately $170-$200 and can be mounted on a wall or door.  These residential use only products are available for order by phone – Call the Knox company at 1-855-438-5669 M-F (8am to 6pm).

For questions about the program or  recommendations on installation location, contact Augusta County Fire-Rescue at 540 245-5624.
