If you are missing your pet, please contact the SVASC and use the "Stray Search" link.  Photos are updated as animals are brought into the facility.  

Claiming your Animal at SVASC:

When you claim your dog, a fine will apply.  Please contact the Treasurer’s Office for the fee amount. 540-245-5660.  Fees need to be paid at the Treasurer's Office located at 18 Government Center Lane.

Fees:

$50       If running at large without a valid rabies vaccination

$25       If running at large

$10       If no County dog tag

$20       Pick-up fee

$15       Per day impoundment fee

Please note that pets left after five days, without a collar or ten days with a collar are made available to the public for adoption.
